Are you detail-oriented, passionate about patient care, and looking to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic organization? We are seeking a dedicated Front Desk Assistant to join our team and 

help ensure the accuracy and integrity of our practice.

About the Role: The Front Desk Assistant will perform general clerical duties in support of patient services as directed by the Office Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Answering the phone while maintaining a polite, consistent phone manner using proper telephone etiquette.

• Scan and enter all information for a patient into the EMR system, photocopying, faxing, or assisting in the completion of forms.

• Update all new or changing patient information in EMR system. I.E; verify patient current address, phone number.

• Review all new patient information for accuracy and completion.

• Confirm patient appointments and reschedule any appointments as needed.

• Greet all patients and visitors, in person or over the telephone.

• Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized area.

• Maintain a high level of ethical conduct regarding HIPPA, patient confidentiality and professional stature.

• Collect EMR records such as laboratory reports and images as requested by the Physician.

• Able to communicate effectively and build positive relationships with all clinical and administrative staff.

What We’re Looking For:

• Detail-Oriented: You have a keen eye for detail and can produce accurate records.

• Integrity: You handle patient documentation responsibly and maintain confidentiality.

• Strong Communication Skills: Patient and/or guest interaction is a major part of this role, so you have solid verbal and nonverbal communication skills.

• Comprehensive Knowledge: You understand medical and orthopedic terminology.

• Regulation Proficiency: You abide by HIPAA and OSHA standards.

• Experience: Prior experience with Electronic Medical Records systems is desirable.
