Job DetailsJob Location: Give Kids The World - Kissimmee, FL 34746Position Type: Full TimeSUMMARY OF OVERALL PURPOSE The Development Specialist-Major Gifts & Strategic Accounts supports the Senior Director of Major Gifts & Strategic Partnerships in cultivating, soliciting, stewarding, and retaining major donors and strategic corporate partners. This role serves as a key operational partner by coordinating prospect research, donor and partner stewardship, proposal development, portfolio management, and engagement activities.The Development Specialist-Major Gifts & Strategic Accounts helps to ensure an exceptional donor and partner experience while supporting the achievement of philanthropic and partnership revenue goals. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Portfolio & Relationship Management Support the Senior Director in managing a portfolio of major donors and strategic corporate partners. Coordinate donor and partner meetings, tours, cultivation events, and follow-up communications. Maintain accurate constituent records, contact reports, and next steps within Salesforce Track moves management activities and ensure timely follow-up on donor and partner engagements. Assist with portfolio reviews and pipeline management. Stewardship Coordinate personalized stewardship plans for major donors and strategic partners. Prepare impact reports, donor updates, and stewardship communications. Track pledge reminders, anniversaries, recognition opportunities, and sponsorship fulfillment. Coordinate naming opportunities and donor recognition. Ensure all stewardship commitments and partnership benefits are delivered accurately and on schedule. Proposal & Gift Administration Assist in preparing major gift proposals, sponsorship proposals, gift agreements, and partnership presentations. Coordinate proposal production, approvals, and delivery. Monitor proposal deadlines, pledge fulfillment, and sponsorship agreements. Support gift documentation and reporting. Corporate Partnership Support Assist with managing strategic corporate accounts by coordinating communications, reporting, and stewardship. Track sponsorship deliverables and fulfillment. Coordinate volunteer opportunities, site visits, and engagement experiences for corporate partners. Support renewals and partnership cultivation activities. Reporting & Administration Generate portfolio reports, pipeline reports, stewardship reports, and fundraising metrics. Maintain organized donor and partner files. Assist with forecasting and revenue tracking. Support special projects and departmental initiatives as assigned. PHYSICAL DEMANDS OUTSIDE NORMAL WORK ENVIRONMENT Ability to work in all weather conditions. Willing to work evenings, weekends and non-traditional hours. Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds. Ability to stand and walk, stand, bend, crouch, balance, use hands/arms to lift/move objects. QualificationsSKILLS, COMPETENCIES, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Strong organizational and project management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail. Professionalism and discretion when working with confidential donor and organizational information. Ability to operate a motorized vehicle, including a battery operated golf cart. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Must meet acceptable attendance and punctuality requirements, which are essential functions for the position. Bachelor's Degree or a combination of education and relevant work experience equal to six or more years. 2+ years of experience in fundraising, donor relations, account management, nonprofit administration, or customer relationship management. Preferred Requirement Experience with Salesforce.
