Job DetailsJob Location: Give Kids The World - Kissimmee, FL 34746Position Type: Full TimeSUMMARY OF OVERALL PURPOSE The Houseperson is responsible for stripping and pre-cleaning preparation of Villas. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Villa Preparation Strip linen from villas. Remove trash from villas. Pick-up guest trash from in front of villas. Trash pickup in front of all villas on property by specified time. Supplies Maintain and organize housekeeping warehouse. Prepare clean linen, cleaning and villa supplies for Villa Attendants. Remove medical equipment from villas and/or call Support Services for pick up of same. Respond to all radio requests in timely manner for guests or staff. Order villa supplies from Support Services in a timely manner to maintain warehouse inventory par levels. Conduct Disney Linen runs. Food & Beverage Remove dirty rags from Food & Beverage outlets. Provide clean rags to Food & Beverage outlets. All other duties as assigned PHYSICAL DEMANDS OUTSIDE NORMAL WORK ENVIRONMENT Regularly required to walk, stand, bend, stoop, reach, balance, use hands and arms. Ability to lift up to 75+ pounds, unassisted. Work in outdoor weather conditions. Ability to work a flexible schedule, to include rotating shifts, nights, weekends and/or extended hours of work. QualificationsSKILLS, COMPETENCIES, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Ability to follow directions. Ability to perform daily functions with minimal supervision. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with guests, co-workers and management. Good decision-making skills to ensure a safe work environment. Ability to operate a motorized vehicle, including battery-operated golf cart. Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Must meet acceptable attendance and punctuality requirements, which are essential functions for the position. High School Diploma Previous experience as a Houseperson, preferred.  Bilingual, English and Spanish preferred.
