Here, innovation and collaboration thrive, and every team member is empowered to deliver warm, personalized service that makes our guests feel right at home.   Job Title: IT Support Specialist, Full-Time FLSA Status: Full-Time / Hourly / Non-Exempt Location: Kissimmee, FL   Job Responsibilities Solid understanding of IT systems, networking, and software applications, along with exceptional problem-solving and communication skills  Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network-related issues at lodging, retail, and food & beverage locations. Respond to service requests promptly, both in person and remotely, to minimize downtime and disruptions. Perform onsite installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT equipment, including computers, peripherals, POS systems, and network devices. Collaborate with remote teams and individuals to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues effectively. Adhere to Reunion Resort and Golf Club company procedures and policies  Assist with the setup, configuration, and maintenance of network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and wireless access points. Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and ensure seamless communication between onsite and remote locations. Work closely with network administrators to implement and enforce network security measures. Provide support for business software applications, including Point of Sale (POS) systems, property management systems, and other industry-specific software. Assist end-users with software installations, updates, and configurations. Conduct training sessions and create user documentation to help employees understand and effectively utilize software applications. Manage hardware inventory, including computers, tablets, printers, scanners, and other peripheral devices. Coordinate repairs and warranty services for faulty or damaged hardware. Assist with hardware procurement, ensuring compliance with organizational standards and budgetary guidelines Maintain accurate records of all support requests, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions. Create and update technical documentation, user guides, and standard operating procedures. Prepare regular reports on support activities, including key metrics and trends. Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends relevant to lodging, retail, and food & beverage sectors. Evaluate new hardware and software solutions, providing recommendations to improve operational efficiency and user experience. Collaborate with IT teams to plan and implement technology upgrades and projects. Completing any other task/duties assigned  Qualifications Position requires flexibility in scheduling including AM/PM shifts, weekends, and holidays. Will be required to participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation.  Must have attention to detail, strong ability to multi-task, and time-management skills  IT experience of at least 3 years is required. Hospitality experience is a plus.   Advanced proficiency in Microsoft software programs.  Must have strong verbal and written communication skills  Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience) Must be able to sit, stand, and walk for long periods of time. Must be able to complete repetitive motions during shift such as bending, stooping, squatting, climbing, etc.  Ability to travel to various locations to provide hands-on support and ensure the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure. Must be able to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50lbs.  Experience with network infrastructure setup, troubleshooting, and security. Advanced background in general Microcomputer hardware, software and networking, installation, troubleshooting, and repair. Strong knowledge of IT systems, hardware, software, and networking principles. Flexible nature with the ability to learn new systems, applications, and tools quickly. Familiarity with POS systems, property management systems, and industry-specific software is highly desirable. Experience managing software, service or network projects and rollouts. Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time and priorities.
