Veterinary Assistant Adjunct Instructor

Northbridge University is looking for a qualified Veterinary Assistant Adjunct Instructor.

Classes usually run from Monday to Thursday and can be held in the mornings or evenings. 

Minimum requirements:

•    Educational Background: Minimum of an Associate Degree in Veterinary Technology, Animal Science, or a related field. 

•    Professional Experience: At least five years of experience in veterinary practice or animal care. Prior teaching or training experience is highly preferred.

•    Passion for education with excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

• In Florida, veterinary assistants do not require a state-issued license, but there are professional certifications:

  While neither profession requires a state license, the ideal candidate should have:

  •    NAVTA-Approved Veterinary Assistant Certification (preferred).

  •    FVMA – Florida Veterinary Medical Association (preferred).
