Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) – Government Contract
Location: Kittery, ME (NMRTC New England + clinics within 40-mile radius)

Position Overview
We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) to support patient care services at Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Command New England (NMRTCNE) and associated clinics. This role provides a structured weekday schedule, strong work-life balance, and the opportunity to serve military members and their families.
Schedule & Work Hours
- Monday – Friday only
- Day shift hours: Between 7:30 AM and 5:00 PM
- Shift length: 8.5–9 hours (includes unpaid meal break)
- Max hours: 80 hours per 2-week period
- Schedule provided: 1 month in advance
- No weekends or federal holidays required
Recognized federal holidays off (e.g., Thanksgiving, Christmas, Independence Day)
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver hands-on nursing care to diverse patient populations
- Administer medications and treatments per established protocols
- Monitor patient conditions and document care accurately
- Assist with diagnostic procedures and specialized treatments
- Respond to urgent/emergency situations appropriately
- Educate patients and families on care plans
- Support clinical operations and collaborate with healthcare teams
Minimum Qualifications
- Education: Graduate of an accredited practical/vocational nursing program
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of LPN/LVN experience post-graduation
- License: Current, full, active, and unrestricted LPN/LVN license
- Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) (required)
- Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen

- Ability to work at multiple clinics within a 40-mile radius (advance notice provided)
- Strong attention to detail and patient safety
- Proficiency with electronic medical records systems
- Ability to follow military and federal healthcare protocols
