Role Overview
As a Field Services Technician, you are more than just a repair expert; you are the primary representative of the Twiddy brand in the field. You are relied upon as a technical authority to diagnose complex problems, perform critical tests, and execute the repairs, replacements, or recommendations necessary for homeowners’ properties.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Excellence:Â Respond promptly and positively to maintenance work orders (verbal, written, or electronic) to provide effective solutions.
- Workflow Management:Â Complete tasks assigned by dispatchers in a timely, professional, and efficient manner.
- Preventive Care:Â Perform regular, proactive maintenance to prevent future issues and preserve property value.
- Fleet & Tool Stewardship:Â Maintain full responsibility for your assigned service vehicle (as applicable) and ensure it is clean, orderly, and fully stocked with necessary tools and equipment.
- Compliance & Safety:Â Notify your supervisor regarding routine vehicle service, safety inspections, or mechanical issues.
Core Skills & Qualifications
- Licensing: Must possess and maintain a valid North Carolina Driver’s License with a clean driving record to perform daily duties.
- Technical Proficiency:Â Expert use of a variety of hand and power tools, diagnostic devices, and material handling equipment.
- Digital Fluency:Â Skilled in utilizing smartphone and tablet applications to manage email, texts, and work orders via our dispatch system.
- Communication:Â Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing, with owners, guests, and office staff.
- Adaptability:Â Proven ability to multitask and manage changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical Requirements:Â Ability to routinely lift and carry up to 50 pounds
Schedule: DAYS OFF: TBD, Two consecutive weekdays. Working weekends and after-hours coverage are required.
