W-Industries is an energy service company that specializes in Automation Solutions, I&E Construction Services, Power Generation and Packaged Equipment for the Energy and Industrial markets. Our expertise encompasses the full spectrum of system technologies from pneumatic - hydraulic control systems to state-of-the-art programmable solutions to chemical injection systems, and everything in-between.


W-Industries is currently searching for a team oriented, highly motivated individual with experience in a high-volume and deadline driven environment as a Document Control Specialist to work at our Gears Rd. location in North Houston. The ideal candidate is going to have 1+ years of experience managing and tracking company documents.

Requirements

  • Takes responsibility for all document and data management aspects of projects.
  • Store, manage, scan, image, organize and maintain documents adhering to the W-Industries document life-cycle procedures.
    Assure documents submitted to document control are appropriately named, numbered, etc.
  • Archive completed records in accordance with the records retention schedule.
  • Prepare & transmit documents generated by the engineering staff to the customer via project specific channels on a day to day basis.
  • Ensure company records management and retention policies are followed.
  • Regularly communicate with internal and external business partners.
  • Detailed orientated.

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of sitting or standing at a desk.
  • Continuously requires vision, hearing, twisting, and talking.
  • Some lifting (up to 30 lbs.). Long hours on computer keyboard.
