Custodian / Grounds Maintenance Team Member

Hourly $15.00/Full Time

We are seeking a dependable and motivated Custodian / Grounds Maintenance Team Member to help keep our corporate office and surrounding property clean, safe, and welcoming for staff, visitors, donors, and community partners.

Position Summary

This position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our facility and outdoor areas through custodial and light landscaping duties. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, values teamwork, and enjoys contributing to a positive environment that reflects Goodwill’s mission and values.

Responsibilities

Facility Cleaning

• Clean and maintain all hard surface floors
• Vacuum and mop floors as needed
• Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly
• Clean windows, glass doors, and entryways
• Maintain restrooms, common areas, and offices in a clean and orderly condition

Outdoor & Grounds Maintenance

• Clean and maintain parking lot and walkways
• Perform light weed control and mulch application
• Use a blower to maintain sidewalks, entrances, and outdoor spaces
• Help ensure the property remains safe, neat, and welcoming

Qualifications

• Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
• Ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks
• Able to perform physical duties including lifting, bending, walking, and standing
• Custodial or grounds maintenance experience preferred, but not required
