Accord Federal Services, LLC is a veteran owned government contracting firm located in Knoxville, TN. Our core area of business is facility management and maintenance of federal government properties. We have been in operation for over thirteen years and have existing contracts at locations across the country.


Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and manage federal government contracts throughout the full contract lifecycle. 
  • Lead the development, review, and negotiation of government contracts, including solicitations, proposals, contracts, amendments, and modifications ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and legal requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with federal acquisition regulations (FAR), and other applicable legal standards across all contract activities.
  • Conduct thorough contract reviews, risk assessments, and due diligence to protect organizational interests.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on strategic planning, proposal writing, pricing strategies, and technical documentation to support business development efforts.
  • Provide strategic guidance to leadership regarding contractual obligations and risk mitigation. 
  • Monitor contract performance, deliverables, deadlines, and funding limitations. 
  • Oversee records management related to contracts.
  • Review labor categories, wage determinations, and contract staffing requirements. 
  • Track subcontractor compliance including insurance certificates, reporting requirements, and invoicing documentation.
  • Manage a portfolio of multiple federal contracts and task orders simultaneously. 
  • Interpret complex federal acquisition regulations and advise internal stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Contracts Management, Finance, Public Administration, or related field, equivalent experience may be considered. 
  • Working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and applicable agency regulations. 
  • Experience supporting federal contracts, task orders, modifications, and contract closeouts.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple contracts and deadlines simultaneously. 
  • Experience reviewing and interpreting contract terms, statements of work, and compliance requirements.
  •  Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Experience working for a federal prime contractor or subcontractor. 
  • Knowledge of DFARS, Service Contract Act, Davis-Bacon Act, and prevailing wage requirements. 
  • Experience with contract management systems and government portals.
  • Experience interpreting wage determinations and labor category requirements. 
  • Experience working in a fast-paced government contracting environment.
  • Experience supporting government audits and compliance reviews.
