Chesapeake's is looking for experienced Cooks to join our Downtown Knoxville team! If you have previous cooking experience, enjoy working in a fast-paced kitchen, and are available to work Sundays, we'd love to meet you.

What You'll Do

As a Line Cook, you may work one of several stations, including:

• Window
• Grill
• Sauté
• Salad
• Fry

Responsibilities include:

• Preparing products for your assigned station.
• Cooking and assembling menu items according to recipe and quality standards.
• Maintaining proper food temperatures and safe food handling practices.
• Keeping your station clean, organized, and sanitary throughout your shift.
• Ensuring kitchen equipment is operating properly.
• Learning new menu items and daily specials.
• Working efficiently while maintaining attention to detail and consistency.

What We're Looking For

• Previous cooking or line cook experience is required.
• Sunday availability is required.
• A team player with a positive attitude and a sense of humor.
• Someone who smiles easily and enjoys working with others.
• Basic math skills and an understanding of recipe conversions.
• Ability to use a digital scale and food thermometer.
• Ability to stand, bend, and walk throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and more with assistance.
• Ability to follow recipes and maintain consistent food quality.
