The Human Resources Generalist plays a vital role in supporting various human resources functions within the organization. This position is responsible for handling a broad range of HR activities, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, training, and payroll processing. The HR Generalist serves as a point of contact for employees and management, ensuring HR policies and procedures are implemented effectively and consistently.聽
Essential Job Functions
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Administer day-to-day HR operations, including employee inquiries, onboarding, offboarding, and maintaining personnel records.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Support recruitment and selection processes by posting job openings, screening candidates, and conducting background/MVR checks.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Ensure timely and accurate bi-weekly payroll processing.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Respond to unemployment claims, unemployment hearings and employment verifications.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Facilitate new hire orientation and ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new employees.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Assist in employee relations matters, addressing concerns, conducting investigations, and supporting conflict resolution efforts.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Coordinate benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, and responding to employee questions regarding benefits programs.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and maintain up-to-date knowledge of HR best practices, compliance with annual federal reporting requirements.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Support performance management processes, evaluations, and development plans.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, HRIS data entry, and generate HR reports as needed.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Assist with HR projects and initiatives, such as training programs, employee engagement activities, and policy updates.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Promote a positive organizational culture.聽
Qualifications
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Bachelor鈥檚 degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 2+ years of experience in a human resources role, preferably as a generalist or in a similar capacity.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Strong organizational and time management abilities.
