Overview
We’re hiring a Process Engineer to design and improve manufacturing equipment and processes used for industrial component deconstruction, refurbishment, remanufacturing, and re-assembly.
This is a hands-on manufacturing engineering role combining CAD, machine design, tooling and fixture development, equipment improvement, and process troubleshooting. You’ll work from concept through detailed design, fabrication, installation, commissioning, and ongoing support. The role is open to engineers with 1–5 years of experience, but requires a solid foundation in mechanical design and CAD.
Why Join Us
- Design real equipment: Take machine and tooling concepts from CAD through commissioning.
- Own full projects: Support equipment from initial design through ongoing production use.
- Build broad skills: Work across mechanical design, automation, tooling, and manufacturing processes.
Compensation
- Salary: $70,000–$87,000 annually
Responsibilities
- Machine Design: Design manufacturing equipment, tooling, fixtures, gauging, automation systems, and machine enhancements using 3D CAD.
- Mechanical Systems: Apply power transmission, machine elements, structural design, hydraulics, and pneumatics to equipment designs.
- Component Selection: Specify motors, gearboxes, bearings, actuators, sensors, controls interfaces, and motion components.
- Detailed Design: Create production-ready 3D models, assemblies, engineering drawings, BOMs, schematics, and technical documentation.
- Project Execution: Support equipment through fabrication, testing, installation, commissioning, qualification, and production use.
- Process Improvement: Improve manufacturing capability, repeatability, productivity, reliability, and cost through equipment and process changes.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose equipment and manufacturing problems using testing, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
- Design Reviews: Apply GD&T, DFM, DFA, FMEA, and reliability principles when developing manufacturing solutions.
- Engineering Documentation: Maintain drawings, revisions, manuals, BOMs, and technical records within SAP
