At PIRTEK Knoxville, our Mobile Hydraulic Mechanics keep local industries running — from construction and rental fleets to manufacturing and mining. You might work on a crane in the morning, a boat after lunch, and a sausage-stuffing machine before you clock out. No two days are ever the same!
What You’ll Do
- Operate your own PIRTEK Mobile Service Unit (a fully equipped hose shop on wheels)
- Respond to service calls to inspect, build, and install hydraulic hoses on-site
- Work directly with customers and provide top-notch service
- Manage your schedule and ensure safe, professional service every time
What You’ll Bring
- 3+ years’ experience in automotive, machinery, or heavy-equipment maintenance
- Hydraulic experience a plus, but not required — training provided
- Strong mechanical skills and problem-solving mindset
- Excellent communication and customer-service skills
- Clean driving record and self-motivation to work independently
