POSITION SUMMARY
Kelvion, a global leader in heat exchanger manufacturing, is seeking a technically strong and results-oriented Project Manager – Operations & Process Excellence to lead a portfolio of operational improvement and production-focused initiatives across Kelvion Americas.

This role is responsible for driving structured process improvement efforts while also managing production and capital-related projects from concept through implementation. The ideal candidate brings deep manufacturing experience, strong financial and operational acumen, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams to deliver measurable improvements in safety, quality, cost, delivery, and customer satisfaction.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

Process Improvement & Operational Excellence

  • Lead Process & OE initiatives across Project Management, Production, Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, Safety, and Logistics.
  • Identify, prioritize, and execute projects that improve on-time delivery, lead-time reduction, cost control, customer satisfaction, and productivity.
  • Facilitate cross-functional workshops (Kaizen, value stream mapping, root cause analysis, risk assessments).
  • Standardize and optimize business processes; document and implement SOPs and best practices.
  • Establish KPIs, dashboards, and performance tracking systems to sustain improvements.
  • Drive corrective actions related to missed shipments, quality escapes, safety incidents, and operational inefficiencies.
  • Partner with department leaders to ensure adoption and sustainment of process changes.
  • Support digitalization and system improvement initiatives (ERP, reporting, workflow automation).

Production & Capital Project Management

  • Develop and execute detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Serve as primary point of contact for Operations-related projects including Engineering, Sales, Purchasing, and Customers.
  • Manage long-lead items and coordinate procurement to support production schedules.
  • Lead internal team meetings, kick-offs, milestone reviews, and closeout meetings.
  • Oversee capital budget planning and tracking for Kelvion Americas; manage capital spend reporting.
  • Ensure project quality control, safety compliance, and risk mitigation.
  • Monitor financial projections and maintain cost control within authorized limits.
  • Provide regular executive-level reporting through formal reviews and project management tools.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Promote and uphold Kelvion’s Standards of Excellence in safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, including Global Code of Business Principles and Operational Framework.
  • Travel up to 50% as required.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

 

 

REQUIREMENTS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES)

  • Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated experience driving process improvement and operational performance gains.
  • Financial acumen with experience managing budgets and capital expenditures.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and executive reporting skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management systems.
  • Ability to work independently while influencing all levels of the organization.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Operations, or Project Management (required).
  • Minimum 5 years of combined experience in Project Management within manufacturing.
  • Experience leading teams and facilitating process improvement initiatives.
  • Familiarity with industrial manufacturing, construction methods, and materials preferred.
  • PMP, Change Management certifications a plus
