JOB DESCRIPTION

 

Summary/ObjectiveAn agency level professional with 5-7 years of experience that will lead the visual conceptualization and execution of creative campaigns across digital, print, and video channels. They will work closely with copywriters, editors, and the Creative Director to translate strategies into compelling, high-level, brand compliant designs, while mentoring junior staff and managing timelines with minimal supervision.

 

Essential Functions

  • Connecting the Verizon and Cellular Sales brands through the implementation of existing brand guides
  • Maintaining visual brand compliance for all brands including Apple, Samsung, Google,Verizon and our own
  • Designing world-class social, email, web, digital, merchandising and much more
  • Collaborating with the Creative Director, designers, copywriters, developers, videographers and photographers, editors, and Marketing counterparts: all in-house
  • Presenting concepts to Creative and Marketing leadership with confidence
  • Mentoring other designers by reviewing their work while actively working on your own
  • Prioritizing projects and workload to meet business needs and deadlines

    Work EnvironmentThis job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

     

    Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

  • Must be able to perform repetitious hand/eye movement.
  • Must be able to sit for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs.
  • This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.

     

    Position Type/Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

    Required Education and Experience

  • BA in Graphic Design preferred
  • 5-7 years of experience at an agency or in-house team as an Art Director or Graphic Designer
  •   

    Preferred Education and Experience

  • An ability to lead the visual conceptualization and execution of creative campaigns across digital, print, and video channels
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite as well as excellent design and animation skills
  • Must be able to concept, storyboard, and develop video concepts to be executed by our editors
  • Experience with technology brands, B2B or Recruitment Marketing is a plus
  • A positive, outgoing attitude with a strong ability to collaborate effectively with others
