BASIC PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Provides operational support for supply chain activities including inventory control, receiving, distribution, and warehouse management to ensureĀ timelyĀ andĀ accurateĀ availability of supplies for patient care and departmental needs.

Minimum Work Experience: Ā 2-4Ā years of healthcare supply chainĀ or inventoryĀ management experienceĀ preferred.Ā

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
ManageĀ PARĀ levels for assigned clinical areas and departments and monitor utilization trends to ensure appropriate stock levels are maintained for patient care.
PerformĀ routineĀ cycleĀ counts, pulling, rotating, and restocking of inventoryĀ &Ā PARĀ locationsĀ (stocking to the back of bins using FIFOĀ methodology), and investigate any inventory discrepancies.Ā
Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked supply areas across all assigned locationsĀ and central distribution, ensuring compliance with hospital standards. IncludingĀ disposal ofĀ cardboard, packing materialsĀ and trashĀ each shift.
Collaborate with department leaders to adjust PAR levels, add/remove products, andĀ optimizeĀ inventory.Ā
AssistĀ with product recalls and regulatory compliance processes.
Restock allĀ central distributionĀ areas daily and across shifts; maintain a āpick-readyā environment at all timesĀ withĀ no openĀ cardboard.
Receive, inspect,Ā and openĀ all packagesĀ to verifyĀ contentsĀ against purchase orders and packing slips.Ā Verify distributor deliveries to confirmĀ theĀ correct items and quantities received.Ā
IdentifyĀ and report discrepancies, shortages, or damaged goodsĀ at time of deliveryĀ andĀ assistĀ with resolutionĀ
MaintainĀ accurateĀ records of shipments, returns, and discrepanciesĀ andĀ fileĀ accordingly.
Prioritize receiving and delivery of urgent or critical itemsĀ
Ensure deliveries are made to theĀ correctĀ locationĀ and capture the deliveryĀ in WorkdayĀ withĀ theĀ appropriate photoĀ documentation.Ā
Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient receiving area
AssistĀ departments with supply needs and inquiries.Ā Answer incoming calls andĀ serviceĀ windowĀ as needed.Ā
AccuratelyĀ process and issue supplies prior to leaving the warehouse.
Process and deliverĀ departmentalĀ supplyĀ requisitionsĀ toĀ the correctĀ locationsĀ and ensure packing slipsĀ accompanyĀ all deliveries.Ā Ā
ParticipateĀ andĀ assistĀ with annual physical inventory processes.Ā Ā Ā
Train and mentor Supply ChainĀ Tech IĀ staff.Ā

Heavy lifting, pushing, and pulling is required up to 50 lbs occasionally, 20-30 lbs frequently, and 10lbs constantly to move objects of up to 150 lbs. Sudden emergency situations have the potential for exposure to lifting or moving of up to 150 lbs. Frequent bending, walking, sitting squatting, reaching, and standing are required. Keyboard/computer use and/or repetitive motions may be required.
