Position is full-time, 0.9 FTE, 12-hr Variable shifts, 40 hours per week.
$7,500 Hiring Bonus for eligible external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment.

The Medical Technologist conducts clinical diagnostic testing on inpatients, outpatients, and residents to included blood draws and specimen collections for processing. Â Performs therapeutic phlebotomy. Conducts quality control procedures on patient tests and laboratory equipment to ensure that accurate diagnostic testing is performed. Reports patient data to the patient's medical record and/or medical staff if the results warrant direct contact.

Required Qualifications:
- Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
- Within 1 year of hire: National Medical Laboratory Scientist - American Society for Clinical Pathology, or
- Within 1 year of hire: National Clinical Laboratory Scientist - American Society for Clinical Pathology, or
- Within 1 year of hire: National Medical Technologist - American Medical Technologists, or
- Within 1 year of hire: National Medical Technologist - American Society for Clinical Pathology, or
- Within 1 year of hire: National Medical Technologist - American Association of BioanalystsÂ

- 2 years work experience in a clinical laboratory.
