Competitive Compensation: $26.37- $26.42, plus $1.50 per hour shift premium 

Shift: 3rd Shift: 9:00PM-5:18AM

We are looking for an Iron Melt Preheat Operator to join our Cast Iron division. We offer a diverse array of growth opportunities within our manufacturing divisions. This position will be based at our Kohler, Wisconsin location. We specialize in manufacturing high-quality cast iron products. 

Crafting Excellence: Your Responsibilities 

• Programs the type of charge to be made up into I-FIX computer 

• Use of pneumatic chipping hammer 

• Use masonry/brick saw, will perform ladle patch/rebuild with misc. refractories, perform melt baghouse bag change out, perform auto-pour furnace chip/patch, perform melt furnace chip/patch 

• Melt furnace knockout and reline as needed, yard crane, HMC and scrap load check-in, forklift certification is required, etc.  

• PPE requirements are, but not limited to: 3.0 tinted safety glasses, slip off safety shoes with metatarsal guards, respirator, coveralls, etc.  

• Schedule reflects production lines.

Key Qualifications 

• Must be able to work in the US without restriction or sponsorship. 

• Effective communication skills for manufacturing production processes. 

• Must be at least 18 years old. 

• Preferred Qualifications 

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred. 

• 1+ year of manufacturing, industrial, or warehouse experience preferred.
