General Supervisor, Maintenance Powerhouse

Work Mode: Onsite

Location: Onsite – Kohler, WI

Opportunity

Manage the Powerhouse Operations and I&C Group to provide around the clock uninterrupted Utilities and Technical support to the Kohler Campus including Hospitality and assist satellite operations globally. Drive improvement in Maintenance and Utilities effectiveness in functional areas through the use of KMMS best practices and KOS tools.

Job Responsibilities

  • Training and development of operating personnel in the use of new systems designed to reduce operating costs.
  • Operation of all utility equipment to minimize costs based on plant load and the ability to accept risk under given operating conditions.
  • Maintenance of all utility equipment with emphasis on the application of preventive maintenance techniques and the expanded use of predictive maintenance programs.
  • Coordination of planned outages with operating units to minimize production loss and eliminate equipment damage.
  • Develop and deploy procedures to minimize the frequency and duration of forced outages.
  • Development, implementation, maintenance, and improvement of a system for planning and scheduling of maintenance work that is functional, properly staffed and cost effective.
  • Perform regular system operating studies to maximize the various system efficiencies.
  • Routine audits of utility consumption within operating units to identify leaks, improper use of high-cost utilities and other potentials savings.
  • Administration and management of water chemistry contract and applications in Utilities and Production equipment and Wastewater Treatment, and support for these types of applications on a corporate basis.
