Sr Finance Analyst

Opportunity
Serve as the strategic finance partner for the Direct-to-Consumer and Kohler Home Services channels, with a focus on Kohler Signature Stores, KOHLER.com, and Kohler Home Services. This role involves delivering financial analysis, sharing insights, and recommending actions to drive revenue growth and improve profitability. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to build strong partnerships and support business goals.Â
The role operates within a matrixed organization and requires alignment with Kohler Co. policies and procedures. A high level of integrity, ethics, and professionalism is essential when working with key stakeholders across the business.Â
Key ResponsibilitiesÂ
Financial Leadership & PlanningÂ
- Lead financial management and planning for Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) and Kohler Home Services (KHS) channels, including full P&L ownership for Kohler Signature Stores, KOHLER.com, and KHS.Â
- Conduct monthly income statement and balance sheet analysis, identify key performance drivers and provide actionable insights.Â
- Develop and present financial plans, forecasts, and performance reviews to senior leadership, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.Â
Strategic Support & AnalysisÂ
- Support growth initiatives by analyzing new store performance, tracking capital expenditures, and updating financial assumptions post-launch.Â
- Perform product and SKU-level profitability analysis through the Dealer Channel to ensure optimal product placement.Â
- Design and maintain commission models for Kohler Stores, ensuring alignment with corporate policies and sales goals.Â
Reporting & CommunicationÂ
- Oversee the preparation and distribution of financial reports, including monthly statements, forecasts, QBRs, and annual plans.Â
- Provide detailed reporting on operating expenses and market performance as needed.Â
- Act as a financial subject matter expert, helping teams interpret results and align actions with business objectives.Â
Cross-Functional Collaboration & SystemsÂ
- Partner with IT and business teams to implement process improvements and enhance reporting capabilities.Â
- Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for financial systems (Microsoft D365) to ensure accurate reporting across Kohler Stores.Â
- Support ad hoc analysis and special projects as assigned by the Finance Manager.Â
Skills/Requirements
- Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance or Accounting. 3-4 years of experience desired.
- A strong working knowledge of Excel is required.
- SAP knowledge and experience is desired.
- Experience or desire to drive process automation and data visualization.
- Ability to effectively comprehend, analyze, and make recommendations based on
complex data is required. - Effective communication skills, both within and outside of the Accounting/Finance
organization. This includes presentation skills.
