Your Role

 

The Associate Quality Control Chemist performs precise product evaluations according to established protocols and provides technical support to ensure departmental success. This role is responsible for maintaining laboratory operations and supporting group goals through the following duties: 

 

  • Perform routine assays and analytical evaluations of products and intermediates, ensuring results meet established specifications and unit operation requirements
  • Review stock suitability data in accordance with Quality Management System (QMS) guidelines to ensure all materials meet laboratory standards
  • Support general quality review functions and maintain meticulous, accurate records in logbooks consistent with cGMP and quality procedures
  • Manage laboratory support tasks, including equipment maintenance, reagent preparation, inventory restocking, and compliant waste disposal
  • Identify and implement process improvements by applying scientific knowledge and experience in compliance with change control procedures
  • Communicate operational status and deviations to management and relevant departments to maintain a focus on customer excellence and site-wide goals
  • Perform procedures accurately and independently, prioritizing responsibilities to stay aligned with established department objectives
  • Act as a technical resource by training personnel, resolving unsafe conditions, and participating in quality audits as needed
  • Hours/Days: 4:00 PM - 2:30 AM, Wed-Sat - On-site position

 

Who You Are

 

Minimum Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry or other Life Science discipline
  • 2+ years of combined academic and professional laboratory experience 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Master’s Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or other life science discipline
  • 4+ years of experience in a laboratory or quality review environment
  • Proficiency in analytical techniques, chemical calculations, and safe laboratory practices
  • Working knowledge of Data Integrity principles and proficiency with database software and the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting
  • Demonstrated self-motivation, adaptability, and effective time-management abilities

 

Pay Range for this position - $24.00-$44.00/hourly

The offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors. Position may be eligible for sales or performance-based bonuses. Benefits offered by the Company include health insurance, paid time off (PTO), retirement contributions, and other perquisites.
