The Kohler Brand team’s ability to deliver world-class creative content is largely dependent on the stellar ability of the program management team. We’re currently searching for an experienced program manager to join our ranks and continue this tradition. The ideal candidate will have a sharp business mind and proven ability to strategize and implement high-level program initiatives. This person should be a natural leader with strong talent for project coordination and delegation. Ultimately, the project leader should be motivated by a desire to optimize productivity and nurture program success from inception to completion.
As a key liaison between creative, marketing, product, and leadership, you will oversee project and campaign execution, streamline operations, and ensure high-impact storytelling across all channels.  This position drives a portfolio of creative projects and accompanying communication tactics and manages marketing communications projects to promote purposeful messaging, both internal and external, on behalf of the KOHLER® brand. This project leader will be responsible for the creative deliverables for omni-channel campaigns, including concept/layout, copy, design, photography, and audio and video production, driving projects to completion both on time and on budget.
The successful candidate must possess detailed knowledge of project management fundamentals, have creative problem-solving skills, be detail-oriented and assertive, possess excellent organization skills, and be self-directed. Additionally, this candidate must be able to build and maintain productive working relationships with key partners, including internal marketing partners and external vendors.
Specific Responsibilities
 Project Management
- Responsible for the key tenants of project management – time, budget and deliverables across a portfolio of projects.
- Manage projects both small and medium for the marketing group to support marketing plans and business goals as assigned by Program Management leadership.
- Develop and oversee project plans, ensuring seamless execution of brand campaigns, digital initiatives, and product launches.
- Manage digital, print, OOH, brand activations, and video- and studio-based communication projects in partnership creative and business marketing team.
- Plan and direct work from Kohler’s internal Centers of Excellence for the projects managed. This may include, but is not limited to, concept/layout, copy, design, photography, and audio and video production.
- Partner with internal and external agencies, freelancers, and vendors to ensure best-in-class execution.
- Utilize Workfront for project management disciplines, including communication plan, timelines, change orders, work breakdown structures, and weekly management status reports.
- Stay current on developments in the industries serviced by Kohler Company as well as developments in communications and marketing across all communications channels.
- Serve as a process-improvement leader for all managed processes and department-wide initiatives.
- Maintain organizational standards of satisfaction, quality, and performance.
- Analyze, evaluate, and overcome program risks and produce program reports for managers and stakeholders.
Skills/Requirements
- 5+ years experience in program/project management within a marketing, creative, or brand environment.
- Bachelor’s degree within Business, Marketing or Related field.
- Strong industry knowledge and understanding of integrated marketing campaigns, brand storytelling, and digital strategy.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to drive decision-making amongst various stakeholders.
- Must be a strategic thinker and problem solver and an assertive communicator (both written and oral) with experience influencing others.
