Product Manager, Showering Fixtures

Opportunity

Kohler Co. is looking for a Product Manager with exceptional critical thinking skills and a passion for innovation to lead the Showering fixtures category. You will be joining a strong global brand committed to living on the leading edge in design and technology of product and process.

The Product Manager will be responsible for the product line vision and long-term objectives, new product development deliverables, and product lifecycles for the assigned categories. The Product Manager owns the product strategy, conducts market and consumer insights analysis, identifies user needs, and creates a roadmap for the products. The Product Manager leads and works with cross-functional teams to develop and launch the products and monitor their performance.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop & own the product attribute framework, innovation roadmaps and strategies to deliver the long-term business objectives.
  • Own the P&L’s and long-term financial deliverables for the shower wall, accessory and receptor categories in all North American channels.
  • Act as the internal and external focal point for the resolution of product issues (quality, cost, warranty, performance).
  • Plan and initiate new product development efforts to grow sales and profits.
  • Proactively manage the portfolio of products including product lifecycle management.
  • Write and submit appropriate documentation to initiate new product efforts.
  • Provide voice of customer input throughout the new product development process.
  • Support category partners in key customer presentations, line reviews, and training.
  • Interact globally with various cross functional teams and departments to collaborate and deliver objectives on schedule.
  • Owns/leads 5-year roadmaps and new product schedules.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, communication, and accountability within the team.

Skills/Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in any field. MBA preferred.
  • 5 years product management experience with strong analytical and presentation skills
  • Track record of owning and successfully driving strategies, completing projects and meeting
  • objectives

  •  Approximately 25%
