Location: Onsite – Kohler, WI 

Competitive Compensation: Starting at $27.90 per hour, plus $1.50 shift premium 

Shift: 3rd Shift, 11:00PM-7:00AM plus overtime

We are looking for an Enamel Cell Operator (Tech) to join our team in Enamel Shop. We offer a diverse array of growth opportunities within our Foundry and Enamel Operations. This position will be based at our Kohler, Wisconsin location. We specialize in manufacturing high-quality cast iron products. 

Crafting Excellence: Your Responsibilities

  

  • Primary responsibility is to monitor and assist with operation of robotic enameling cells. 

  • Job functions include troubleshooting, performing change overs, adjusting enameling programs, inspecting tools and replacing parts as needed.  

  • Additional duties include operating forklifts and other material handling equipment, ensuring that production supplies are available at cells, and filling in for co-workers as needed.  

  • Fast paced, high energy and not standard day to day.  

  • Requires repetitive bending from a sitting or standing position.  

  • Need to pass math and reading maintenance tests. 

  • Must not be color blind; must pass a vision test.  

  • Lifting requirements for the position are up to 50 lbs. occasionally.  

  • Ability to operate a forklift is also required

Skills/Requirements

  • Must be able to work in the US without restriction or sponsorship. 

  • Effective communication skills for manufacturing production processes. 

  • Must be at least 18 years old. 

 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred. 

  • 1+ year of manufacturing, industrial, or warehouse experience preferred.

  • Physical Capability: Ability to perform the essential duties of the position with or without reasonable accommodation including but not limited to bending, lifting, and pushing weight.
