We are currently seeking a Certified or Registered Medical Assistant (CMA or RMA) to join our team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about patient care, collaboration, and community health.

Job Summary

As a Certified or Registered Medical Assistant, you will support the clinical team by preparing patients for their visits, assisting providers with procedures, and performing key administrative and clinical tasks. You’ll be an essential part of our efforts to ensure a smooth, supportive, and high-quality experience for every patient.

Job Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

  • Room patients and collect vitals
  • Perform EKGs, administer injections, and assist with minor procedures
  • Coordinate referrals and manage triage communications
  • Prepare and stock exam rooms
  • Document patient information accurately in the Electronic Health Record (EHR)
  • Perform CLIA-waived lab tests, prepare specimens, and support VFC tracking
  • Maintain clinical compliance with OSHA, CLIA, and ADA standards

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Certification or Registration as a Medical Assistant (CMA or RMA)
  • Graduation from an accredited ABHES or CAAHEP MA program
  • BLS Certification (American Heart Association)
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Computer literacy and basic math skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience in an ambulatory care setting preferred
  • Familiarity with CHIRP, VFC, and VOMS systems a plus
