Job Summary
- Our mechanics are an important part of our company. They handle a variety of tasks related to vehicle and equipment maintenance from diagnosing, adjusting and repairs of our fleet and equipment.

General Accountabilities
- Repairs and replaces damaged or worn parts.
- Dismantles and reassembles trucks and equipment using hoists and hand tools.
- Operates and inspects trucks, machines or equipment to diagnose defects.
- Tests mechanical products and equipment after repair or assembly to ensure proper performance.
- Performs minor welding and brazing work.
- Cleans, lubricates, and performs other routine maintenance work on trucks and equipment.
- Reads and understands operating manuals and technical drawings.
- Tests trucks, machines and equipment to ensure operating efficiency.
- Repair or overhaul trucks and equipment as needed.
- Diagnoses faults or malfunctions to determine required repairs.
- Examines parts for damage and excessive wear.
- Will perform DOT inspections on a regular basis.

Job Qualifications
- Education: General mechanic training/experience required, diesel mechanic training a plus
- Experience: 2-3 years of related experience
- For-Hire Endorsement, required
- DOT Physical, required
- CDL-A, preferred but not required
