  1. Monitoring of Shift Activities which includes vessel/rail/road operations and ensure targets and deadlines are effectively met.

  2. Job allocation and engagement of company and outsourced staff.

  3. Achievement of optimum productivity levels and reliability of service to customers.

  4. Contributing for the meeting of Business/Operational targets and objectives.

  5. Supervise and manage the terminal supervisory group into an efficient and effective team.

  6. Liaise with inter departments for proper service from ‘supporting’ departments.

  7. Ensure seamless inter shift flow of work. 

  8. Ensuring safe and correct working practices.

  9. Contributing to continuous improvement.

  10. Ensure vessel Berthing and Un-berthing Timelines are achieved.

  11. Communicate with Manager-Operations for any potential issue concerning the operations. 

  12. Provide regular process control checks and initiate and support performance improvement activities.

  13. Maintain and enhance relationships and goodwill with external/internal customers and vendors.

  14. Provide first line of response for emergency situations and damage assessments. Communicate information in clear concise manner to stakeholders.
