Service Technician

Provide field service engineering and technical assistance to customers in areas of installation, startup, maintenance & repair, training, and modification of equipment. Provide technical solutions to customers that involve engineering research impacting equipment or product design, testing of materials, process studies, and economic impact analysis. Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering (electrical, mechanical or engineering technology). Routinely provides technical solutions to customers on moderately complex problems within a set of products or industries served. Participates on larger project teams and may also manage small project teams with narrow scope. Still acquiring higher level knowledge of products and processes but is able to research independently and only requires moderate levels of coaching and guidance. Typically requires a minimum of 3 years experience to be qualified.
