Gundersen Health System is looking for an energetic and service‑minded Central Service Distribution Aide to join our mission‑driven team! If you enjoy staying active, solving problems on the fly, and playing a key role in keeping a hospital running smoothly, this is a chance to make a meaningful impact every single day. You’ll be part of a fast‑paced environment where your work directly supports patient care.

What's Available:

  • 1.0 FTE (40 hours/week)

  • Shift: Monday-Friday, 2:30PM-11:00PM

  • Every third weekend and some holidays - 2:30 PM-11:00PM

  • Location: Main Campus - La Crosse

  • Department: Distribution

  • Shift differentials!

This position has an 8/80 hour flex overtime computation. ​

What you will do:

  • Gain valuable supply chain experience in a fast-paced healthcare setting!

  • Rotate among several supply & equipment delivery tasks, with frequent changes in priority:

  • Provide internal customer service by taking calls from nursing, OR, and clinic staff to fulfill urgent supply & equipment needs.

  • Clean and redistribute moveable medical equipment throughout the hospital.

  • Unbox and stock nightly deliveries of supplies in hospital storage rooms and the OR.

  • Ensure the accuracy of supplies within emergency carts and kits by replacing used or expired items.

What you need:

  • High School Diploma or equivalency

  • No experience required

  • Ability to multitask and handle conflicting priorities

  • Ability to walk for long periods of time

  • Ability to lift 50-75 lbs occasionally
