Actual pay will be based on various factors, such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, proficiency for the role, and internal equity. In addition to base pay, Kwik Trip gives 40% of pre-tax profits back to our coworkers with bonuses ranging from 8-12% of each coworker’s gross annual wage depending on company profitability and offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, 401k, paid time off, and more.

Our state-of-the-art Kitchens department located in La Crosse, WI produces over 40 different food products for approximately 800+ retail stores.  Kwik Trip customers are able to enjoy everything from our soups, salads, sandwiches to our Pothole Pizzas. With our expansion we are now able to offer a variety of Take Home Meals and finished fruit and vegetable products, all prepared daily by our Kitchens team. 

Join our Kitchens team as a full-time Material Handler/Runner. The primary responsibilities for this position include:

• Bringing product in from the warehouse to supply the production lines
• Removing finished product from the production room
• Opening and breaking down cardboard boxes
• General housekeeping in the production room (e.g. sweeping, changing garbages, compacting cardboard, etc.)
   

Work Schedule: Wednesday through Saturday working 12:00pm to 10:00pm

Qualifications:

• Willing to learn and perform a variety of job tasks
• Work well with others
• Possess basic math aptitude
• Read, understand and interpret numbers
• Cycle count ingredients on a schedule
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen areas
• Work in a fast paced environment ; work in a safety conscious environment
• Work up to 10+ hours
   

Physical qualifications:  lift/carry up to 60 pounds to 60 inches; lift/carry 40 pounds to 76 inches; push/pull 60 pounds of force; bend, twist, reach, stoop frequently; work in varying -20 – 44 degree F temperatures.

• Starting rate of pay: $18.75 per hour 
• Weekend Premium Pay: additional $3.00 an hour between the hours of 7:30pm Friday and 5:00am Monday
