The Hospital Internal Medicine (HIM) NP / PA practice in La Crosse WI is looking for a provider to join our team. We provide 19 hours of hospital coverage (7:00 am – 2:00 am),7 days per week.
NPs / PAs collaborate with on-site physicians providing team-based care for patients in general and critical care units. NPs / PAs participate in all aspects of care of the hospitalized patient including admission, discharge, daily rounding, and patient education.
Ideal candidates for our NP / PA position have an extensive medical knowledge base, inpatient medical experience, and a continual desire to learn and grow as a health care provider. The position is 0.85 FTE or 68 hours per pay period. Schedule includes day, night and every 2 – 3 weekends. Opportunities are available for participation in research and quality improvement projects, and education of the next generation of NPs / PAs.
At least 1 year of experience in acute care as NP / PA preferred; new graduates will be considered depending on experience prior to or in school.
