Emplify Health by Gundersen is seeking an RN, Quality Improvement Specialist to join our Quality and Patient Safety department. In this role, you’ll help advance system-wide quality initiatives and support clinical excellence across the organization. As a clinically focused partner, you’ll serve as a consultant, educator, and advisor in quality improvement, patient safety, evidence-based practice, and population health integration. You’ll work closely with directors, managers, and frontline staff to provide guidance, research, education, and tools that support continuous improvement in patient care. This role also helps facilitate communication and required work across committees and the nursing council structure, while supporting regulatory compliance and collaboration with internal and external partners.

What You Will Do

  • 1.0 FTE (40 hours/week)

  • Business hours, typically 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., no holidays or weekends

  • Lead and support performance improvement projects

  • Serve as a resource on evidence-based practices and regulatory requirements

  • Collaborate with departments on process design

  • Support compliance with Joint Commission, CMS, state regulations, and organizational policies

What You Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN)

  • Minimum of 5 years of RN experience

  • Active Wisconsin RN license at the time of hire

  • BLS CPR certification with hands-on learning

  • Experience with data analysis, quality improvement, or LEAN methodology is a plus
