Emplify Health by Gundersen Health System, in cooperation with Tri-State Ambulance, is seeking a resourceful and self-motivated individual to join our EMS (Emergency Medical Services) team as a Senior Office Assistant! If you are proactive and eager to contribute to a collaborative environment, we would love to hear from you!

What's Available:

  • Hours: 40 hours/week (1.0 FTE)
  • Starting wage of $18.63 + more with experience
  • Shift: Monday - Friday, 8-hour day shifts, no weekends or major holidays!
  • Typical hours are between 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
  • Department: Emplify EMS and Tri-State Ambulance
  • Location: La Crosse, WI - Fully on-site

What You'll Do:

  • Provide high-level administrative support to the EMS director and immediate leadership team.
  • Provide advanced clerical and administrative support using various computer systems and applications, including Microsoft Office and Adobe.
  • Manage high-volume calendar scheduling, including appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements for division staff.
  • Independently research, design, format, and prepare advanced reports, correspondence, and documents.
  • Assist in meeting management, including setting up meetings and taking minutes.
  • Serve as a resource and mentor to other office assistants within the division.
  • Provide light clerical support for other office functions as needed.

What You'll Need:

  • High school diploma or equivalency plus at least one year of post-high school training in Business, Computer, Administrative, Secretarial, or Office programs. Associate degree in a related field is a plus.
  • 3-4 years of relevant office, secretarial, or administrative experience; healthcare experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and pay attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and a positive, professional attitude with personal integrity.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, and other computer applications; experience with Epic is a plus.
  • Ability to exercise good judgment, manage priorities, and meet deadlines independently.
