Actual pay will be based on various factors, such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, proficiency for the role, and internal equity. In addition to base pay, Kwik Trip gives 40% of pre-tax profits back to our coworkers with bonuses ranging from 8-12% of each coworker’s gross annual wage depending on company profitability and offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, 401k, paid time off, and more.

 


Full-Time Support Center Training Coordinator, La Crosse, WI: Kwik Trip, Inc. (Kwik Trip/Kwik Star) Talent Operations Department is growing! We are seeking a Full-Time Support Center Training Coordinator to support business operations by promoting Kwik Trip's culture through onboarding, New Coworker Orientation, and intern programming. This role is responsible for evaluating and providing ongoing suggestions and enhancements to training, engagement, appreciation, overall experience, and any other retention initiatives.

 

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Manage all aspects of New Coworker Orientation (NCO) within the Support Center
  • Travel to the DeForest Distribution Center a minimum of twice per month to facilitate and support New Coworker Orientation.
  • Ability to Travel to DeForest DC multiple times a month.
  • Present and engage with diverse groups of new hires during weekly classes, workshops, and onboarding experiences
  • Create and maintain training schedules, attendance records, communications, and course completions within Career Central LMS
  • Coordinate logistics for all offerings
  • Provide ongoing follow-up with new hires to ensure process completion, engagement, and feedback collection
  • Support additional coworker engagement opportunities across the organization
  • Assist with the planning, coordination, facilitation, and ongoing support of the Intern Program, including intern onboarding, engagement activities, development opportunities, and program logistics
  • Conduct evaluations of coworker experiences and business processes to identify opportunities for improvement, support business growth, and advance strategic goals
  • Analyze trends, feedback, and engagement data to recommend and implement improvements to onboarding, training, and retention initiatives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather insights, align strategies, and ensure a cohesive approach to coworker experience initiatives
  • Provide support for additional Talent Operations initiatives and programs as needed

 

Qualifications: 

  • Associate degree in Human Resources, Business, Training, Development, or related field; equivalent experience will be considered
  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience in training, public speaking, facilitation, engagement, development, trend identification, project management, or related areas
  • Ability and willingness to travel regularly to the DeForest Distribution Center as required
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong understanding of HR concepts, coworker experience, engagement, and development principles
  • Knowledge of training design, content creation, and presentation best practices
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to prioritize, multitask, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately

 

Work Schedule:  Monday through Friday, daytime hours.
