We’re looking for a Part Time or Full Time Van Driver for our La Crosse location. Shift Availability: This position is Full Time, working a minimum of 36 hours per week.  When driving tasks not required, various tasks within the building may be assigned.  Hours may vary, ranging from 7:30am - 5pm, Monday - Friday  Occasional Saturday shifts required.   Job Responsibilities: Operate a facility-owned van to transport residents to and from appointments. Transport new residents to facility upon admission. Responsible for assuring the van meets all safety requirements and reporting any needed repairs. Communicate with facility via cell phone for pick-ups and changes in the driving schedule. Responsible for the completion of records regarding the transport of residents for billing purposes. Perform other assignments as directed by supervisor Transport resident lab, x-rays or other material as needed. Qualifications and BenefitsRequirements: Non-probationary license required and must be insurable. A driving record that will meet the criteria to be authorized to drive a company vehicle. Good customer service skills and communication skills. Ability to physically load and unload the van frequently. Possess the ability to operate a mechanical chair lift on van. Experience working with elderly and individuals with disabilities. Be able to react in urgent situations. Must be able to push up to 30-45 lbs.
