Job Summary

City Brewery is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor for second shift. This position will oversee the shift operations for multiple warehouses and central receiving, and provide supervision to a team of non-exempt warehouse coordinators, and approximately 30 forklift operators per shift. 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and ensure the accurate and efficient flow of all palletizers, transfers, rails, shipments, inbound supplies and trucks.
  • Supervise the daily inventory, storage and movement of all packaging materials, ingredients and finished product. Responsible for finished product, packaging material and ingredient stock rotation.
  • Supervise recording, grounds and trailer reporting for a 200 trailer drop lot.
  • Count, balance, and check proper tagging procedures for all hold product vs. hold report. Monitor and control daily hold adjustments. Serve as direct contact for Quality Department. File and track all hold dumping/sorting/repacking documents per TTB regulations.
  • Supervise employee training, coaching and discipline.
  • Schedule replacement coverage for call-ins.
  • Supervise all scanning, WMS functions, meters versus receipts and various reports.
  • Ensure proper operations of all on board forklift scanners, radios, cradles and WMS equipment. Record all daily forklift inspection reports.
  • Enforce policies to stay within internal, federal, state and local regulations. Responsible for compliance of GMP, fire codes, insurance guidelines, sanitation, pest control, safety, OSHA, FDA, DOT and TTB.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or related field preferred. A combination of education/military leadership/ work experience may be considered. 
  • 2+ years' experience in warehouse, logistics, manufacturing or material handling.
  • 2+ years' supervisory experience, preferably within a union environment.
  • Team oriented
  • Excellent oral/written communication skills, advanced computer skills. WMS knowledge helpful.
  • Highly organized/self-motivated and able to work in a fast paced environment
  • Selected candidate must be willing to work any shift and weekends when necessary to cover the needs of the business.
