Summary: Responsible for the production of labels and signs and teh abulity to use all equipment in the production facility. 

Overall Responsibilities:

  • All aspects of label / sign printing and production. 
  • Assists in sign production (printing, cutting, laminating, punching holes, etc.) 
  • Performs routine maintenance of machines, keeping proper records 
  • Troubleshoots /diagnoses mechanical and electrical problems of printing equipment 
  • Simple machine repairs with supporting documentation 
  • Perform initial quality check for finished products as produced. 
  • Trains on all/any new equipment, open minded to new techniques and methods of improvement 
  • Complies with safety training and procedures 
  • Review, comprehend and follow SOP’s for equipment and processes as needed 
  • SAP 
  • Other projects as assigned.

Skills and Requirements:

  • Must be detailed oriented; good hand/eye coordination
  • Good mechanical and computer skills
  • SAP knowledge (production related processes)
  • Excel
  • Ability to multi task, handle several projects at once
  • Must be well organized
  • Responsible, reliable & the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Must be physically able to lift 75 lbs
  • Must be able to work independently as well as with others
  • Math skills required

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision requirements in close vision. Hand-eye coordination is required.
