Job Description 

Norco is currently seeking an individual to fill our Combo Warehouse/Purchasing position. The Combo Warehouse/Purchasing person is responsible for accomplishing all shipping and receiving on a daily basis and to maintain the warehouse in a neat and orderly fashion. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

 

  • Prepares all items to be shipped on a daily basis 
  • Notifies appropriate parties of shipments received 
  • Places all items received for stock into their appropriate locations on a daily basis 
  • Monitor and maintain accurate and appropriate inventory levels and places orders when necessary 
  • Generate Purchase Orders and Return Goods Authorization information when necessary 
  • Coordinate cycle counts and rental inventory in branch location and stock points 
  • Maintains the warehouse area in a neat and orderly fashion 
  • Properly receives all items shipped to the company on a daily basis 
  • Adhere to all established procedures, policies and safety rules 
  • Perform other tasks as assigned or needed 
  • Cleans all DME in rental return room according to company policy and places items back in stock on a daily basis 
  • Disinfects all appropriate equipment according to company policy and places items back in stock on a regular basis 

 

Qualifications 

  • High school graduate or equivalent 
  • Demonstrates timeliness, courtesy, sincerity and patience when dealing with patients/clients 
  • Good organizational and customer service skills 
  • Basic mathematics skills 
  • Basic knowledge of home care medical products and supplies 
  • Accurately enter data into computer and acquire a working knowledge or any software applications applicable to the position 
  • Ability to lift up to 100 lbs. on an occasional basis 
  • Ability to read written materials, PC screen, etc. 
  • Good communications skills 
  • Previous computer experience
