This role moves beyond traditional training delivery toward performance enablement—designing and executing learning experiences that build judgment, reduce time to proficiency, and directly support business outcomes.   Reporting to the Director of Performance and Learning Support, the Learning Manager owns the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of new hire onboarding and ongoing learning programs. This role manages the Learning Support team, partners closely with Performance Support and Operations leadership, and serves as the primary driver of best-in-class learning delivery across the division. This is a player-coach role that combines strategic instructional oversight with hands-on facilitation, coaching, and curriculum development.   What you’ll do  Learning Strategy and Program Oversight Design and continuously improve a learning framework that shifts from activity-based training to outcome-based performance enablement. Own new hire onboarding and ongoing training programs, ensuring alignment to The Rawlings Way, state and federal statutes, and company policy. Define capability-based proficiency milestones and use learning data to drive decisions on what gets taught or redesigned. Align learning priorities with operational goals, recovery targets, and inventory capacity in partnership with the Director.   Training Observation and Quality Assurance Observe live and recorded training sessions regularly; document findings and provide timely, actionable feedback to trainers. Monitor classes to ensure quality and consistency standards are met regardless of instructor. Identify trends across classes and facilitators; adjust curriculum or delivery methods accordingly.   Team Leadership and Development Lead, supervise, and develop the Learning Support team, including Learning Specialists. Coach Learning Specialists to strengthen facilitation skills and delivery consistency. Manage team scheduling and coordinate all training activity across the division. Collaborate with Operations to align readiness criteria and onboarding timelines. Support analyst coaching and mentoring through the Learning Specialist team to reinforce quality file handling and recovery results. Assist subrogation management with continuing education and compliance training.   Outcome-Driven Measurement Measure training effectiveness by performance lift—not attendance, completions, or session counts. Track quality consistency, escalation accuracy, independent decision-making, and first-pass accuracy as core success indicators. Standardize readiness through staged milestones: supervised work → partial autonomy → full analyst responsibility. Report on learning outcomes and analyst progression to the Director and key stakeholders.   What experience you bring (Role Requirements)   Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in health insurance, legal, property casualty, or a related field. Minimum of two years of subrogation file handling experience required; leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred.
