Cashier

This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, have strong attention to detail, and take pride in providing excellent guest service. Team members will be cross-trained in multiple areas including cashiering, beverage preparation, bread packaging, and bakery display maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, professional, and efficient customer service at all times.
• Operate the POS system accurately for customer transactions.
• Prepare coffee, espresso-based beverages, teas, smoothies, and other menu drinks according to company standards.
• Package breads, pastries, cakes, and other bakery products with care and attention to presentation.
• Stock and maintain baker displays, ensuring products are fully stocked, organized, and visually appealing.
• Monitor product quality, freshness, and cleanliness throughout the store.
• Maintain awareness of customer needs and assist guests promptly.
• Work efficiently during busy periods while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and company operational standards.
• Assist with opening, closing, cleaning, and daily operational tasks.
• Support fellow team members and contribute to a positive team environment.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service, retail, café, restaurant, or bakery experience is preferred but not required.
• Positive attitude with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Demonstrates common sense, situational awareness, and the ability to work independently when needed.
• Reliable, punctual, and accountable.
• Willingness to learn multiple positions and adapt to changing business needs.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

• Weekend availability is required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Holiday availability is required.
• Flexible schedule, including morning, evening, and closing shifts.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
