Responsible for providing direct patient care to assess their communicative, swallowing, and cognitive disorders to improve their optimal, functional level of independence and potential for rehabilitation. To establish and administer a treatment program with specific goals determined according to the patient's capacity and tolerance under the direction of the Physician. Educate patients and families with appropriate speech therapy methods.    QualificationsEducation:   Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology required  Licenses/Certification:   Current license for Speech Language Pathology field in state of employment   Successful completion of a national exam in speech language pathology, and completion of a nine (9) month clinical fellowship.  Must maintain current Provider CPR certification and licensure throughout employment  Experience:    Experience in modified barium swallow studies  Preferred experience in Inpatient Rehab  Safety Sensitive-Designated Position
