Position Overview

We are looking for a motivated entry-level team member who is eager to learn and build a long-term career in the construction and engineering industry. No prior experience is required — we will provide training and hands-on mentorship.

You do not need previous experience in engineering, construction, or drafting. We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn.

As you grow in this role, you will be trained in construction coordination, seismic bracing systems, AutoCAD drafting, project documentation, material takeoffs, and building code fundamentals.

What You Will Learn

You will receive training and hands-on experience in:

Professional communication with customers, project managers, and internal teams
Construction project coordination
File organization and project documentation
Reading construction drawings
AutoCAD drafting basics
Seismic bracing layouts and detailing
Material takeoffs and quoting
Construction hardware and support systems
Building codes and seismic requirements
Engineering submittal preparation
Industry software and project management systems

Daily Responsibilities

With training and support from your supervisor, you will:

Assist with organizing project files and documents
Help prepare project submittals and reports
Learn to read construction plans and layouts
Assist with drafting and detailing in
Help prepare material lists and quotes
Document project communication and updates
Participate in team coordination meetings
Learn industry standards and company procedures
Maintain organized digital and physical records
Track daily tasks and project progress

What We Are Looking For

High school diploma or equivalent

Basic computer knowledge
Ability to stay organized and follow instructions
Interest in construction, engineering, drafting, or technical work
