About the role
Works with computer-controlled machines such as drills, mills, and presses to manufacture parts. They review sample parts against drawings or CAD models to ensure accurate production and take precise measurements for cutting/shaping tasks using appropriate machine settingsCNC Mill Machinist

Your main tasks and responsibilities:
- Operate machine to make complex angle cuts and threading where multiple speeds and feeds are required
- Complete assigned jobs start to finish with little or no supervision.
- Perform intermediate trigonometry to help determine tooling required to machine the part and best matching method
- Read blueprints, drawings and sketches that may require intermediate math and problems solving skills to calculate dimensions not specified on print
- Help Maintain Equipment
- Q.C. all manufactured parts prior to removing from machine and informing the Department Supervisor
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Must have experience working with turbo machinery and with CNC Mills
- Must have the required tools to perform their expected tasks
- Must be able to work overtime when necessary
- Must be able to use precision measuring instrument
