About the role

Responsibilities

• Masking, fixturing, painting, and polishing
• Responsible for masking parts for processing in blast booth
• Prepare rotors and components according to coating instructions and drawings
• Properly post-process parts by polishing and touching up coated surfaces, deliver parts and components to the appropriate department, dispose of waste materials according to regulations, use and operate the overhead cranes and forklifts
• Comply with requirements of risk manager assessments and safety procedures
• Use PPE as identified in risk assessments of other related safety documents
• Do not undertake actives that have not been risk assessed, or where an assessment is not available or understood
• Report any instances of spillage, uncontrolled exposure or other related safety issues to their line manager.
• Ensure the correct use of waste segregation facilities and the efficient use of natural resources and draw materials.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• Minimum of 2 years coating experience in an industrial environment
• Basi knowledge and understanding of turbo machinery repair preferred
• Bust be able to work overtime when necessary
