Warehouse Chemical Technician / Receiving Chemist I Intern

Clean Harbors is seeking a motivated intern to support warehouse operations as a Warehouse Chemical Technician / Receiving Chemist I Intern. This hands-on role provides exposure to the day-to-day processes involved in receiving, handling, and routing waste drums within a permitted facility.

Materials received at the site are pre-profiled and pre-coded, so this position does not involve laboratory analysis. Instead, the intern will learn our internal coding systems, waste tracking procedures, and operational workflow to ensure materials are properly identified, routed for processing and shipment. The role also includes manual handling of containers and working alongside operations staff to support safe, compliant, and efficient facility operations.

This internship is ideal for a student looking to gain practical, real-world experience in environmental services, waste operations, and regulatory-compliant warehouse processes.

Shift: 1st or 2nd shift

Pay: $18

Duration:  May - September

Internship Program Details:
This is a paid internship opportunity designed to provide hands-on industry experience and professional development. Please note that this position does not include paid vacation, paid time off, or relocation assistance. Interns are responsible for securing their own housing and transportation for the duration of the internship.
