About Cobalt & Specialty Materials

What you will be doing 

As our Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for handling basic maintenance tasks to support our manufacturing  and warehouse operations.  Specifically, this will include:

  • Assisting with new project installations;
  • Basic pipefitting and plumbing installation and repair;
  • Handling small mechanical installations;
  • Completing basic repairs and maintenance;
  • Working with preventative maintenance computer system;
  • Other duties as needed.

Who we are looking for

  • Proficiency with hand and power tools;
  • The ability to wear personal protective equipment including air purifying respirator as needed;
  • The ability to lift 70 lbs, climb stairs and ladders for maintenance and inspection of operational equipment; and,
  • Basic computer skills for handling work orders and preventative maintenance.

Additional Information

This position is located at the Palm Commodities International, LLC facility.  The facility is a Drug-Free Workplace, and pre-employment drug testing is required.

This is a first shift position, working Monday – Friday with occasional overtime.
