The company has been in operation for over 50 years and is family owned and operated. The Company distributes a variety of products including Anheuser-Busch, Yuengling, Heineken, and Sparkling Ice products, among many others. The Merchandiser position is responsible for servicing grocery store accounts across Ajax Turner's designated territory (8 total counties across the Middle TN area). Each Merchandiser is assigned 4 stores on average in a designated section of the Company's territory. SCHEDULE/PAY RANGE: 5 days- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Sunday. Pay rate= $55,166 per year.  Once you have your own route you will receive a Company Car and Cell phone allowance!     DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Merchandising products in a safe and timely manner to all customers, following an assigned daily route. Will repetitively lift 22-50 pounds throughout the day. Following instructions of Sales Reps to rotate all products, stock shelves, report out of stocks, organize back stock, and relocate products as directed. Cultivating a superior knowledge of company's portfolio. Reporting vehicle maintenance issues and accidents according to company policies. Maintaining published product freshness standards in assigned retail accounts by monitoring and rotating stock. Qualifications Must be at least 18 years of age. High school diploma or GED required. Satisfactory driving record and criminal history check. Can build product displays, stock cooler shelves, stack cases, etc. Friendly, courteous, works well with others, and maintains a professional appearance. Ability to work flexible hours, hours might vary during different seasons. Ability to work independently with little to no supervision. Highly organized with the ability to manage priorities and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously. Has a strong commitment to customer service with the ability to effectively work in a team environment.
