Job Description/Responsibilities

Join our distillery team and play a hands-on role in crafting high-quality spirits from production through barrel filling. As a Production Assistant, you'll support a variety of distilling operations while working with modern equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role offers the opportunity to build technical skills, work across multiple production areas, and contribute to safe, efficient operations.

 

Schedule: Monday-Friday 2nd shift (3pm-11pm) with OT as needed

What You'll Do

  • Support daily distillery operations, including material receiving, mashing, fermenting, distilling, charcoal filtering, barrel filling, and barrel handling.
  • Operate and monitor production equipment, including forklifts and industrial machinery, while following all safety and quality standards.
  • Perform basic equipment maintenance, preventative maintenance, and cleaning to help ensure reliable production.
  • Maintain accurate production standards and assist in continuous improvement initiatives across the distillery.

Qualifications/Requirements

Required

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.

Preferred

  • Forklift Experience
  • Organoleptic (sensory evaluation) experience or related production quality experience.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
