Deliver goods and materials to designated locations Maintain a customer-focused approach and uphold company values Manage time and schedules efficiently for on-time deliveries Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively Ensure a clean driving record and practice safe driving habits Support day-to-day yard operations when not actively making deliveries, including loading customers, organizing and stocking materials, operating a forklift and assisting wherever needed Take an active role in helping develop and maintain a safe, organized and efficient lumber yard as the business continues to grow Travel locally as required for deliveries and pick-ups Utilize previous building material experience if available Lift and carry items 25-50lbs consistently Be flexible to work overtime when needed Additional duties as assigned   What Does It Take to Be Successful as a CDL Driver? High school diploma or equivalent Construction or building material experience is preferred, but not required 1+ year of forklift experience required Excellent customer service and communication skills Clean driving record and valid CDL driver's license Willingness to travel locally Ability to lift up to climb up and down ladders, reach, bend, twist, kneel, lift up to 100 lbs with assistance, handle large odd-shaped items, and stock items in overhead areas Requires frequent standing and walking Ability to work outside in varying temperatures and weather Team-oriented and willing to step into different areas of the yard based on the needs of the business Comfortable working in a growing operation where delivery volume may vary and responsibilities will include both driving and hands-on yard support Self-motivated and able to identify what needs to be done to keep the yard organized, efficient and customer-ready Results-oriented with the ability to serve stores with humility and be a steward of Nation’s Best’s values Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while remaining adaptable and flexible Strong interpersonal skills with a willingness to consistently provide superior customer service skills   What’s It Like To Work for Nation’s Best?
